Sooooo...I'm about to attempt a project that makes me a little nervous! I found this lovely little antique kitchen table at a garage sale for $10.00. My husband thought I was insane for paying money for it...he thinks the guy should have paid me to haul it away for him...HA! It took a few days, but now Mike is finally starting to see the beauty and potential that I first saw. I can't wait to see the finished product! The problem is, the table top has so much potential...but I have not one idea how to 1) get rid of stains on porcelain (if it's even possible), and 2) how to fill in a few cracks??? I am thinking about spray painting the top with a paint I found that is for "appliances", like refrigerators and such, but to be honest it kind of makes me nervous. Will primer/paint even stick to porcelain??? I don't want to de-value the antique-yness of it, but at the same time it needs to be restored. Soooooooooo...if anyone has any ideas, PLEASE let me know! I'm off to google it now...wish me luck!
